Day 372

I was praying to God quietly in spirits this morning and the lord showed me to Psalms 139. I was thinking about my past wrongs, I asked God for my present and seek for my future. Here's what Psalms 139 reply to me through King David who wrote the book of Psalms.

Here's the interpretation from a study bible:

Sometimes we dont let people get to know us completely because we are afraid they will discover something about us they wont like. But God already knows everything about us and still accepts and loves us. God cares so much about us so much that he numbers the hairs on our heads (Matthew 10.30) He is with us through every situation, in every trial - loving, protecting and guiding. He knows us completely.

God is everywhere and we cant hide from him. This is a good news to those who loves God because no matter what we do or where we go, we can never be far from God's comforting presence. After I read this verse, this little girl sitting beside me on the bus just started singing aloud. . .  She looks around 5 years old, with her domestic helper standing beside her. She sang this song:

How amazing God is, He never fail to show up in his presence to confirm me that he is so near to me. If you look through the lyrics of this song, you will understand why my heart melts for God.

I started praying about luoyi to God, I prayed that God will hold him up strong and triumph him over all situations God prepared for him. No matter good or bad things may happen, but eventually it will all turn out according to the mighty plan of God. Likewise when I always chew on this verse " All things work for good for those who loves God called according to his purpose. " And the verses continued.

When someone you love is thinking about you all the time, it comforts you. God is concerned to keep us from failing and to catch us if we fall. So if I love luoyi so much and I have been thinking and praying for him all the time, how much more will God think of me constantly. For God's love for me is certainly more than the kind of love I have for a mortal man like luoyi.

The words in the bible really comforts me. I see and feel a God who is constantly caring for me. I am really so touch, and this bible I carry all the time wherever I go is the living words of God.

This is Psalms 139

O LORD, you have searched me and you know me. 2 You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. 3 You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. 4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD. 5 You hem me in--behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. 7 Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. 9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me," 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. 13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, 16 your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you. 19 If only you would slay the wicked, O God! Away from me, you bloodthirsty men! 20 They speak of you with evil intent; your adversaries misuse your name. 21 Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD, and abhor those who rise up against you? 22 I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies. 23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

So beautifully written by King David.

I serve an everlasting living God. He is alive and he showed me, amazed me in so many ways I cannot, not believe that he is here for me and with me. Each time I commute with him, he speaks, he guided me. He carried me in times of troubles and walks on my behalf. I really loves you so much God, Father, let this love always be like the touch of first love. Thank you Father. You are my everlasting father.
