This 1st day of 2011, where do I spent my day? I spent my day 1st day of 2011 "Home" at my home church City Harvest. Delicated my 1st day of the year with my lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
I asked God for his plan for me this 2011
God will do his part once we delicate our plans into his hands
In Psalms 65:11
We will prosper in all aspects, in health, in relationship and in wealth as long as our soul prospers.
Usually I will spend my prayer time with lord praying and interceding for people God puts into my life. But this 1st day of the year, God says, you have to pray for your own needs and I will fulfill them.
@ Ask and it will be given to you
The first thing to do on the 1st day of 2011 we have to make this 1st decision.
1) To refuse to let your past defy your future.
As believers, because he Jesus Christ was being hung up on the cross 2000 years ago, he had hung yours curses onto the cross. Because he took away all the curses in life, we can be blessed.
I know and I truly knows, I am walking on the land of blessing through my saviour Jesus.
Dont allow your past failure determine your future. WE have choice in life. Don't allow fear and disappointment have a negative holdings towards your future.
I realised this, many people I've met or whom I have counselled faced this problem in their lives. They do not dare to hope. They fear to hope. They are afraid that the more they put their hope onto something, the greater the chances they will face disappointment. But I tell you people, if you do not want to live a life of mediocrity, dare to hope. Hope is the your first step to changes towards excellence and as you hope, this hope in life can be transform into a very powerful and positive energy named Faith. Faith is the power of making visions and dreams into reality.

I have good news for you!

In Acts 2:17
Faith is a spiritualised imagination!
and Albert Einstein said this : "Imagination is more important than knowledge"
Dream is the substance of life's great achievements.
There are 5 kinds of people
1. Those with no dreams
I have this question for you if you have no dreams.
What is your purpose in life? I dont give any credit to whatever recarnation and past life theory. ( I will blog on a topic on Re-carnation in my next post )
Every one has a different destiny in life. The moment you are born, you are destinated for a purpose. Because each day of our life, we are walking nearer and nearer towards death. There is a timeline for everyone. Each born for a seperate reason.
Even the birds screaming outside your window has its purpose in life, you have yours as well.
You can have a dream, it is a gift given to you by God.
2. Those who exchanged Big wonderful dreams with Low dreams
Another question ?
Where is the richest place on earth ?
A palace made of Gold?
No
Its a Graveyard.
A place where dreams are forgotten,
a place where death buried their dreams with them.
A place where so many dreams were not fulfill.
Some of them have wonderful and great dreams, but they gave up and bring it to the grave.
A graveyard is a place filled with forgotten dreams.
It is a place riched with unfulfilled dreams and purposes people once lived.
Dont bring your dreams to the graveyard.
The death cannot bring their dreams to life anymore,
But as human like you and me who are alive,
we can have dream and make it come to past.
Remember the dreams you once have,
dont give them up.
Dont bury them in your graveyard because the society tells you that you cannot make it.
God says you can.
Re-ignite that Big dreams you used to have.
Dreams can be made, through your hands and God gave will power.
We dont give up because we have once believed we can.
We can still believe we can.
God wants your big forsaken dreams to come alive once again this year!
Do you know that this Magnificant Taj Mahal is a Tomb?
A tomb for the beloved wife of a king.
She is the best and most well-beloved wife of the king therefore when she died,
the king wanted to build a magnificant tomb for his beloved wife.
Re-ignite that Big dreams you used to have.
Dreams can be made, through your hands and God gave will power.
We dont give up because we have once believed we can.
We can still believe we can.
God wants your big forsaken dreams to come alive once again this year!
3. Those with wrong dreams
I want to illustrate this point a with the story of Taj Mahal
A tomb for the beloved wife of a king.
She is the best and most well-beloved wife of the king therefore when she died,
the king wanted to build a magnificant tomb for his beloved wife.
He puts the coffin of his wife in the middle of this place where the Taj Mahal was constructed. He loves his wife so much and the wants the Taj Mahal to be surrounding the coffin of his wife.
The king took many many years to build the Taj Mahal.
Years past and the beautiful Taj Mahal was finally constructed.
As time passes, his pain for the lost of his beloved wife eased.
One day when he was admiring this magnificant building he has built,
he tripped and fell upon an ugly looking wooden block of something.
He ordered his man to threw this wooden box away.
That was the bones of his beloved wife.
The king had forgotten he build the Taj Mahal for his wife.
Dear people, many times we really work too hard for the wrong reasons. We had been climbing so so hard for a dream we taught that is good for us. We've forgotten why we conceived that dream from the start. We start to work on wrong motives in life.
Like a marriage, you get married to your other half because you love them, you want to be with them, care for them, stand on firm in life with them. But as time passes by, she grew old, no longer as attractive as she was 20 years ago. Her hands haggled, hair grew grey. You've forgotten you were the one who once held her young hands and told her to be your wife because you love her.
Yes everyone should work hard in life. We should be always climbing up this ladder of success. But we really have to be careful when we are heading in the wrong direction, you won't want this to happen in your life, climbing so hard and realised that you have landed your ladder on a wrong wall.
There are very obvious ways to see if you are on the correct "wall" where you land your ladder. The 3 gifts and signs from God when you are on the right Wall,
1) You will have joy even when you are in amid of a storm. Because the right direction in life gives you Joy and that Faith in believe, you will see joy in light at the end of your path.
2) You will experience peace. You can rest after a hard day of work, you can sleep soundly at night, you will have the peace in you.
3) The excitement on work you are doing. When you are on the right track, it seems like you are so excited in making the impossible happen, making mircales come to past.
4. Those with Vague dreams
Those with undecisive and unplanned dreams. You have a dream, you have a goal in life, but you are doing nothing about it. I have learned this, those dreamers who made things happened, they have specific and clear dreams.
You cannot dream to be a multi millionaire while you dont have any plans to become one. Your dreams need to be clear. You need to plan, you need figures, you NEED to know what exactly do you want.
You need to describe as clearly as possible. You need to have an attainable dream. When I committed all my Company incentives convection trips to God. I make plan. I ask God for his favour. I check my plans with God. I draw my timeline. I clock my figures on time. I work on specific short-term Goals to achieve the long-term Goals and further nearer and nearer towards a BIG DREAM God planted in me.
You know my life long dream right? A dream to be a giver. A giver who has the ability to give cost is not a factor. A giver who has the ability to give at any cost.
5. Those with God's Dream
You know something, in some backdated post during November I prayed to God about my career in wealth management. He showed this to me, Ecclesiastes 11:1 Invest in life. This is the same message Pastor shared about. I had my confirmation from Pastor, I know I've conceived a God's Dream to change and transform lives of people using the genes of my career. Protect and love. We can invest. Invest in life and not in death.
You will know it if that Dream which is conceived in you, Is it a God's Dream ? God's dream is Powerful. Joyful. Difficult. yet it can hold and push you on greater in life.
Ask God: what does He wants you to do this 2011 ? Ask him and he will show them to you ever clearer than before. He can. Because he shown it to me and it will be clearer and clearer as I believed in his promises towards me.
I walked up to the Altar yesterday when Pastor Kong called for an Alter-call. I teared and thank God, he just know me so well, inside-out totally. I thank him as I received my this powerful dream from God. A God's dream, he says me :
My daughter, I've given you the power to shine and to transform lives. Touch all the people I am going to send to you. You are going plant dreams into people, give hope, teach them how to invest in life and not death. Choose life and not destructions. Your career is from me, you will be the head and not the tail, above and not beneathe. Sow all your appointments with all your heart with love, and you will rejoice during harvest. My favour is with you, I your Father will grow your appointments. Don't fear nor doubt, just believe.
When I bless you, bless it back to your brothers and sisters in Christ. They need you, for you are all one body in Christ.
